Consumption of renewable energies

This indicator shows the share of renewables in the final energy consumption in the Nordic region. Final energy consumption excludes energy used by the energy sector itself, including for deliveries, and transformation of energy to e.g. heat and electricity. Renewable energy includes hydropower, geothermal energy, wind energy, and fuels from biomass. Also renewable municipal waste is included. Data is available for Denmark, Finland, Greenland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden and the Faroe Islands, as well as the European Union (EU28) and the Euroarea (EA19).
