Health risk

Hide / Show Abstract

Several of the Nordic countries have restrictions on sale of alcohol in order to keep consumption low. The level of consumption should be viewed with some caution as it only includes sale of beer, wine and alcohol. Although the number of smokers in the Nordic countries has been decreasing during recent years, there continues to be large differences in the number of smokers, both for men and for women and between countries.
